Ingredients

• 160 gr butter
• 640 gr sugar
• 640 gr milk, lukewarm
• 1280 gr flour
• 6 eggs, separated yolks from whites
• 2 tspns soda powder
• Icing sugar for coating

Instructions

• Beat the butter until white.
• Add the yolks one by one and mix.
• Add the milk and soda and then gradually add the sugar and the flour. Beat the mixture well.
• Finally, beat the egg whites to make a meringue and add them into the mixture without beating them much together with the rest of the mixture.
• Bake in 180 C for 1 hour.
• Check regularly if the cake is ready.
• Remove from oven and coat the surface with icing sugar.
