Directions

  1. Wash the meat and cut it into pieces.
  2. Add it in a saucepan and bring into boil by adding 1 lt of water.
  3. Skim when it starts to foam.
  4. Simmer for 1,5 hour until meat becomes tender.
  5. Add olive oil, salt, pepper and all the vegetables, which are cut in pieces.
  6. When vegetables are ready (i.e pinched easily with a fork) remove from heat.
  7. Serve in each plate pieces of meat with vegetables with plenty of stock. You can pour some lemon juice if you like.

  • 1 kg beef, cut in pieces
  • 4 carrots
  • 4 medium potatoes, cut in cubes
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 2 onions, quartered each one
  • 100ml olive oil
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Juice of 1 lemon
