Tas Kebab with ostrich meat

Directions

  1. Cut then meat in cubes.
  2. Mix the tomato paste with water and oil.
  3. Place the meat in a bowl, add the rest of the ingredients and mix well.
  4. Place the meat in a crock pot.
  5. Pour over the tomato paste mix and bake in 180 C for 1 hour. Stir at regular intervals.
  6. Serve with fried or baked potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg ostrich goulas or steak
  • 1 medium onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 – 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 green pepper, cut in stripes
  • Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 spoon tomato paste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup olive oil or butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper
