Hints & Tips:
Basil is a herb that can be found in two forms. When basil is in dried form the basil leaves are rubbed and placed in a jar. It is better to buy a basil plant and keep it in your house (like the one in the picture). Each time you need to add basil in your food cut one or two leaves. Fresh basil is more aromatic than the dried one. Fresh basil should be added 2 minutes before the end of cooking, otherwise it looses its scent.
