Pumpkin in Greek cuisine.

How to clean the pumpkin


1. Cut the pumpkin in the middle and then cut it in slices.

2. Remove seeds and outer skin.

3. If you want to use the whole pumpkin to decorate a dish, cut a thin slice from the top and remove the inner part with a spoon.

In the Greek cuisine the pumpkin is commonly used in sweet and salty pies, in soups and in salads. Try some of the following recipes and appreciate the peculiar taste of the pumpkin!
