You can make a nice soup out of this appetizer if you dissolve it by adding some water and then adding some drops of vinegar and some cucumber slices.

INGREDIENTS

  • 400 grams stale bread crumb
  • 8 spoons olive oil
  • 4 spoons vinegar
  • 2 - 4 garlic cloves
  • 50 grams grounded walnuts (optional)
  • Some spearmint
  • Pinch of salt

METHOD

Soak the stale bread in a bowl of water until it becomes soft. When it gets soft strain it and put it in a blender. Mash in a mortal the garlic and the spearmint. Then empty the content of the mortal into the blender together with salt, vinegar and olive oil. Whiz well until mixture becomes like a paste. Optionally add walnuts.
