INGREDIENTS

  • 160 gr butter
  • 640 gr sugar
  • 640 gr milk, lukewarm
  • 1280 gr flour
  • 6 eggs, seperated yolks from whites
  • 2 tspns soda powder

METHOD

Beat the butter until white. Add the yolks one by one and mix. Add the milk and soda and then gradually add the sugar and the flour. Beat the mixture well. Finally, beat the egg whites to make a marengue and add them into the mixture without beating them much together with the rest of the mixture. Bake in 180 C for 1 hour. Check regularly if the cake is ready.
