INGREDIENTS

  • 300 gr sesame paste
  • 350 gr orange juice
  • 400 gr icing sugar
  • 400 gr soft flour
  • 30 gr baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 50 gr golden raisins
  • 50 gr finely chopped nuts
  • orange rind, grated
    For the cake form
  • 50 gr sesame seeds
  • Some oil
  • 50 gr crystalized sugar

METHOD

In a deep bowl mix the sesame paste, the orange juice and the sugar. Add gradually, while stiring the mixture, the flour and the baking powder. Mix until you make a pulp. Add the raisins, the orange rind, the salt and the nuts. Oil a cake pan. Mix the crystalized sugar with the sesame seeds and pour over the oiled surface of the pan. Then place the cake mixture into the pan and bake in preheated oven 30 min in 180 C and 30 min in 170 C.

What size pan? how about giving us ounces instead of gr.: also, farenheit instead of celcius?
