INGREDIENTS

  • 2 spoons of fine quiality fish roe (white coloured fish roe prefered)
  • 6 slices of white bread
  • lemon juice
  • Some spring onions, finely chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped in thin slices
  • Oil for frying
  • Flour for coating

METHOD

Remove the breadcrust from the bread slices. Soak the breadcrumbs into a bowl. Strain it. Mix well the fish roe, the onions and the bread until the mixture becomes thick. Let the mixture stand for a while in order to thicken more. Shape it into balls, coat in flour and fry.
