NOTES
A Traditional dish from Sifnos, cooked on Sundays. The chick peas are baked into the oven for many hours until they melt and become very tender.
Greek : Ρεβύθια σε σιφνιώτικο τσουκάλι
Serves / Yields : 8 persons

INGREDIENTS

METHOD

Soak the chick peas for at least for 5 - 6 hours. Place them into a heat - proof crock - pot, season with salt and pour olive oil. Cover and bake them for hours in 250 C. Serve with lemon juice.
