Yoghurt Cake - (Keik giaourti)

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 teacups flour
  • 2 teacups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 300gr (11 oz) yoghurt made from cow's milk
  • 250 gr (9 oz) butter
  • baking powder

METHOD

Beat butter and sugar together until fluffy and then add the eggs one-by-one, beating constantly. Next mix in the yoghurt and sift the flour and baking powder. Continue to beat until the butter is fluid. Place the mixture in a buttered pan and bake in a medium oven for about an hour.
