Fried sole with mayonnaise and ouzo

Fried sole with white ouzo sauce

Directions

  1. Salt and pepper the fillets on both sides.
  2. Coat with flour and fry on both sides for 3 minutes until the fillets become crusty. Use only one spoon of oil or butter.
  3. Dissolve the mayonnaise in water and pour it over the fillets.
  4. Add ouzo, lemon juice and dill and let the sauce unify for 2-3 minutes in low heat.
  5. Serve warm with boiled vegetables.

Ingredients

  • 4 sole fillets
  • 1 spoon of butter or oil for frying
  • Flour for coating
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 spoons of finely cut dill
  • 4 spoons of ouzo
  • 50 grams of mayonnaise (home or ready made)
  • 10 spoons of water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
