Cinnamon cake

Directions

  1. Mix flour with baking powder and cinnamon. Beat the butter well until it becomes white and then add the sugar and the egg yolks. Add the milk, the brandy and the flour.
  2. Beat the egg whites to make a tight meringue and add the meringue to the mixture.
  3. Butter a cake tin and pour the mixture into it. Bake in moderate oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  • 400 grams flour
  • 220 grams butter
  • 100 grams milk
  • 300 grams sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tspns baking powder
  • 2 spoons brandy
  • 1 spoon cinnamon cloves

  2. I just made this without the brandy (I’m 11) and it tastes great. My sisters loved it too.
